Medical Aid in Dying is the same issue addressed by Oregon's Death With Dignity law — the law used by Brittany Maynard end her life after she was diagnosed with terminal brain cancer in California. California has subsequently passed a similar law. Dr. Strickland will explain the nuances of this law and what its current acceptance is.
